LAHORE: The Army Museum in the provincial capital has been opened for the general public, a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said Sunday.
The museum was inaugurated by Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajawa a few days ago.
The museum depicts history and heritage of Pakistan through various sections.
“Army Museum Lahore Garrison depicts history and heritage of Pakistan movement titled Rebirth of a Nation, Quaid and armed forces, Pakistan’s war history – including fight against terrorism, Shahuada Corner, Nishane Haider Gallery, life at highest battle field Siachin, Kashmir Corner, Pakistan’s contributions in [the] United Nations, nation building efforts and tribute to sacrifices of Minorities titled white of the flag,” the communique said.
“The museum is a source of information and awareness about our history,” the statement added.
